Our testing strategy is based on a Risk-based testing approach. This approach promotes a structured methodology in evaluating risk involved and test planning, design & execution to minimize it. Each stage of testing has a different set of objectives and builds upon its predecessor. The Testing process starts from the Requirement Analysis phase. Each requirement is reviewed and verified whether it is testable or not. If a requirement is not testable then that is discussed and clarified. This may trigger a change control mechanism in the initial or later stages of the development life cycle. If the requirements are testable then the test conditions are prepared. Based on individual test conditions, a number of high level test cases are identified against each test condition. After these high level test cases are identified, the names of the test cases are recorded to further segment them on the basis of Severity (Minor, Visible and Interruption) and their testing priorities (Likely, Quite Likely and Unlikely).
