The RAGM Product Database project will store details of the products that RADM buys from its suppliers and sells to its customers. The system will also store a full history for each product line, including details of offers of stock from suppliers, requests from customers, incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments. It will interface to the RAGM Sage system to store details of purchases and sales. The system will be deployed as a Windows desktop application, written using the Microsoft .Net platform. It will be installed on client workstations, and will have a maximum of around ten users. It will also require a database server to contain the data described below. This database server must use a database management system capable of being accessed from the .Net platform.
