In the UK Gas industry, statutory bodies have carried out many reforms in standards and industry practices recently. This has had a direct impact on the Meter Asset management services of our client. They had no systems to manage their meter assets and associated equipments, repository data of suppliers, consumers and meter works.

Manual procedures they were using were difficult to follow and were ineffective in execution. This had a major impact on lead times to procure assets, their installation and maintenance. They needed a system which could address all these issues as well as ensure compliance with the latest Often regulations.

Meter Asset Management (MAM) offers complete automation of processes involved in Eco's meter assets. MAM ensures industry standard practices to handle the assets and related activities in the organization. Inter related Independent processes are automated through web interfaces. This facilitates co-ordination between MAM, Suppliers, OAMI and Consumers. It provides a means for companies in the utility sector to manage Pre-Acceptance activities, Post-acceptance activities, Emergency Meter Works, Assets Management, Maintenance, Query Management and Invoicing.
